Close Calls: In Fight For Survival, Predator Falls Victim To Her Prey

Dr. Boyer received a phone call from Dr. Audrey Siegrist, veterinarian at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum (ASDM) for an unusual consult a few weeks ago. A Red Tail Hawk had been bitten by a rattlesnake during "Raptor Free Flight", one of the most popular show at ASDM. The bite was life threatening to the hawk and Dr. Siegrist asked Dr. Boyer for guidance on antivenom dosing.
