Adrian Quijada-Mascareñas, PhD


Born in Sonora, Mexico, Dr. Quijada-Mascareñas received his PhD at the University of Wales on biogeography of neotropical rattlesnakes.  A member of Mexico's National System of Investigators (SNI), his research focus is on viper biogeography, conservation genetics and the genetic consequences of climate change.  Dr. Quijada-Mascareñas is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Natural Resources at The University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.  His present research program is mostly located in the US Southwest-Northern Mexico region.
